I have never wanted an illegal script to block and turn off ads more than this BS that's just gotten worse in the last few weeks. Pelting me with it more and more does not make me click "through" to see what you're advertising. All I see is YELLOW AND BLACK SPAM BLOB.

I'm already trying to quit looking at my stats 50 times a day and this just. It sets me off. I can't mute or silence it. I want to light a fire under your proverbial butthole until the flames spark your intestines on fire to make you give us the option to opt out of this SPAM. I said it. I'll call it like it is. It is spam at this point. You aren't even advertising free to read or up-and-coming novels or comics, or even Staff Picks. It's always pay to read comics. Make your money, fine. But at least regard, I don't know, the rest of your userbase in your obtuse disgusting spam messages that I get two times a day it feels like.

I have literally made myself a personality of my character (she's not a serial killer lol it was a part of the plot).
So now every time I get pissed off about something (somehow that usually my younger brother does) I quote "I hope you know that I own 2 cursed blades and if you please don't stop pissing me off, one of them would be found in the midst of your 6th and 7th rib (t w i s t e d) while you can find the other one near your jugular. Have a nice day."
It usually works lol.

Tapas is obnoxious as hell about this. Has been forever but I feel like it’s getting worse. The stories they’re advertising this way are already the first thing we see when logging onto the site, I don’t understand why they feel the need to piss everyone off with spam. If anything it makes me want to read them even less. Also gotta love how anytime someone complains about it on the forums or asks how to turn of the notifications it gets completely ignored.

The longest Tapas was gone without ads recently was 14 days.

Also some of them aren't even available in my country. What's the point?

Yeah, I went out there to look for the kinves comic from this ad right here and it was at the very top of the main page. I thought if it needs ads, it would be at least not out there in you face on the big banner.

Nothing against this comic in particular, but I am getting these notifications even on the desktop, which is kinda annoying.

Tapas App -> Settings -> Options -> Notifications

You can turn off notifications for everything except the unwanted ads, but hey! You can maybe have them more personalized to your specific favorite genres??? How lovely!!

That doesn't really matter though if you don't want the ads to begin with, but somehow it's supposed to make it better for you to put up with..

They don't get personalized. I get tons of ads for harems / girl loves rich jerk guy comics.

@Toastbuster - I have them set off too but they don't silence the unwanted SPAM ads like this. Yes. Tapas needs to take a chill pill or at least recognize that "creators" don't usually have time to digest other people's work.
