It's a great beginning.
Quite a good feel and Ryvan's emotions regarding the situation were spot on.

I'm not exactly a romance fan so I prolly won't read more but the premise is interesting.

Thanks for the thread! Here's mine. It's a love story about a merman and a human girl. The girl is a novelist and the merman is a painter. It's currently still ongoing.
