Synopsis: The Cryptic Isles was an island of islands, a source of the world's secret magic. The Arkaenean Nine were the nine pairs of royalty granted the sacred titles of island rulers. In this day and age, such an island has hidden its existence.
While few of the human races know of these places and creatures, new eras bring new generations of people. When eighteen-year-old Azurite "Zuri" Summers discovers a "Book of the Cryptics," she uncovers a magical part of her heritage she never knew. As she turns every page and comes across faces old and new, she goes further and further into a treacherous journey.
From above and hidden in the shadows, immortal creatures both pure and evil stalk their potential keys to securing a sacred islet.
