Bit late to the party Here's my fantasy with visible L, G, & B in the main cast!

The End of All Things An old power re-emerges in the ruins of a broken world, forcing one young woman to fight for all she holds dear, with (or in spite of) the help of capricious gods. [image] I like the look of your "Kataomoi No Ore: Story # 1: Dear Diary - Love, Sakura" so I'll fill in t…
One that comes up a lot with my magic users is the "barrier". It's basically a shimmering wall of force that can stop anything from arrows to cannon balls (and offensive magic), with the size, shape, and endurance depending on the skill and strength of the caster
Here's mine, I hope you like it
Just updated yesterday
I suck at promoting. I made a twitter to help with this but I haven't updated it in like months
Other than my protag, Sera here is definitely best girl.
She's courageous, competent, and caring. She's been through so much in her life (both before the novel and during) but she never lets it get her down
[image]
In terms of pre-story prep, probably not that much, but tbh I do most of my research as I'm going along, learning about specific things that are needed in the scene or whatever
Aina's the only POV protagonist in my story and she tenacious, resilient, caring, and can kick some serious ass when need be, despite all the things she has to go through
[image]
Wouldn't call it bewildering but I learned how to properly write in Iambic Pentameter just for a lore snippet at the beginning of a chapter
My main character Aina would probably be in the process of a polite rejection when her GF, Sera, comes hurtling from the left field with much violence on her mind
The absolute best. Just show me a penguin, any penguin, and I go nuts. Love these goofy little goobers! [image]
Aina has a few badass moments, but I think this is a good (if slightly terrifying) one from what's already published
[CW: Blood/Gore]
Aina blinked.
With a breath she fell back inside herself, giving up control to the creature wrapped around her soul.
Instantly things cleared. The noises …
In the current arc my MC has this fun combo (different design on the axehead though)

I think the themes shift slightly as the story goes on. The first "book" (arc, season, whatever) is based more around how far you will go to fight for what you believe in, and the toll that can have on a person's mind. The second book is a bit different, sort of asking the question of how much fre…
Can't promise werewolves (...yet) but there's a few dragons in one of the chapters
Updates in *checks watch* nine minutes!
Always looking for feedback, would love to here what you have to say
Complicated is definitely the word for it It's all muddied by questions of free will and manipulation when it comes to her choices too. Bet she'd love that drink though, always happy to make new friends
Not got a lot of art for my novel, but here's the MC, Aina, as of Book/Season 2

Depends who you ask
My character Aina tries her best to do the right thing, shows compassion where she can, and is what many people would consider to be a "good" person.
However, she has killed more than a few people by now and is an outright enemy of the state so there's that
Already subbed and recommend other people do too!
My own is still 2 off of 250, so close to that milestone!
My novel(s) The End of All Things is currently at 212,905 words and will probably end up being double that by the time I've finished
Hi, I'm 3 subs from 250 so I'd love to finally hit that mark!
It's a post-apocalyptic fantasy with a predominantly LGBT+ main cast, so there's a little bit of something for everyone
‘You, Journeyman,’ Alvard pointed. ‘What is it?’ (I'm writing well ahead of what's been currently uploaded :p)
My favourite part is definitely worldbuilding. I love creating these fictional lands, societies, and even ecosystems and working out how they would effect how people live, and generally shape the characters I've let loose within them
Here's mine
3000 Ink gets character sheets for Aina and Sera
6000 Ink gets character sheets for Goose and Alvard
10000 Ink gets sheets for the Hearthknights Gulbrandsen, Holmgeir, and Condradi
15000 Ink and I will write a bonus episode set between Books 1 and 2, filling in what happened to the c…
Got a fantasy novel here with a bi protag, a GL main relationship, and other LGBTQA+ in the main cast
Here it is, but be warned it's kinda super spoily
https://tapas.io/episode/2345352
I'm comfortable writing all ages and my protags tend to be in the 19-30 bracket but for some reason I enjoy writing older adults, especially as veterans within a certain field where they have a lifetime of experience to pass onto the young idiots under their care They can be grumpy yet caring and w…
I will always feel this one fits Aina and Sera and their relationship through the end of the world.
