ive got a looot of characters, so im only sending the brown characters from my current comic!

and more, but im too lazy to send them and i dont want this to be TOO long lol

Thank you!! I feel like Selene is one of my prettiest characters just in general. I love drawing her :sparkles: I’ve mostly just done sketches of her though.

I really like the character expression sheet you have here omg! You have so many cool looking characters. My current comic has a lot of different brown characters too but the art for it is so derpy it’s not on par with that painting I did :sob:

But when I’m not drawing just the sillies I have other story ideas that also have brown characters, here’s some recents from a character ref thing I was doing of the major characters.

@Leyelle Oh new character I see dropped!! Tell us a bit about him  also this is reminding me to draw more characters with glasses, even I wear glasses but I forget to give them to characters lol

He's half Korean and half Filipino and the male lead of a comic I've got in the works (and will hopefully pan out this time.) It's about him raising his daughter while trying to get to know a young woman he likes who is a nanny. Neither one of them really have time for romance because they are always caring for children and stressed about money, but they're trying to branch out more.

This is my first digital drawing of his daughter:

Beros from Sazzon is supposed to have a middle eastern look, although it can be difficult to tell in the pages due to my black and white artstyle.

what culture in the middle east inspired him

Turkish mostly. I've planned a region that's heavily inspired by ottoman anatolia and he's one of the major characters originating from there.

Here are three of my OCs, Sylwen, Lizzie, and Yuri. Sylwen is ethnically African-American, Lizzie is ethnically Indian, and Yuri is ethnically Thai.

@Leyelle

Yes, but it’s not his given name. He fashioned his name after his favorite movie star named “Movie Star” :joy:

Also, will your new comic be a slice of life one, then? Or I could see it lending well to a romantic comedy, the premise has a good set up for that! The daughter’s design is very cute too ^_^

Here's Hestia, Sito, and Poteidas - three of the main Olympians in my Greek myth comic.

I also love Leto and Prometheus but they're side characters and they aren't featured as much as I'd like :_)

it's kind of a slice of life/heartwarming/romantic comedy combo. Many parts of it are silly, especially because the two main children are schemers, but others are much more serious. I'm glad you like Goeun's design. It's a very old one, but I changed a few details when I drew her digitally for the first time to account for some of the changes I added to the original plot (which is from when I was like 13)

Captain Mirav Mizrachi, commander of Alpha Company, 213th Engineering Battalion. She has a complex background of African-American, Korean, Iraqi and white heritage. She was in Iraq before taking command of the Company.

Sergeant Juni Okuda, Intelligence Sergeant for Alpha Company, 213th BN. Dad is Japanese; Mom is Korean. She mostly identifies with her Korean side of the family. She was in Iraq and currently deployed to Kosovo.

Sergeant Troy Saltee, a Combat Engineer in the 213th Battalion. He is mixed but it hasn't yet come up in the story as to how, since it hasn't been relevant. He served in Afghanistan.

The comic is BOHICA Blues; it's a comedy about Army life. It's got long-form story elements and overall plots but told in "gag-a-day" format.
