It's still trans day of visibility when I post this, so show me your transgender and non-binary characters!
I'll start.
First off we have the god of fate, Roso Teikai. The former God, his father found out that it was fated that his own son would be the one to kill and replace him. Of course instead of bagging it up and not tempting fate, he still did his godly thing and slept around, making sure to kill any babies that were assigned male at birth, but letting the ones assigned female at birth live. Roso found out that he was a boy when he was 10, fully transitioned by the end of high school, and while in college, he was playing a game of football, his God father just so happen to be there simply because he enjoyed the sport. A stray ball kicked by Roso hit the head of his old man, completely breaking his neck. Thus fulfilling the prophecy.
Secondly, there is Joanne, Emerald's trusted stunt partner, the stunt being where they fly two planes head on at each other, only missing each other by a few inches. Interesting thing is she is engaged to her mechanic, Craig, who actually used to be a raging transphobe, up until he met Joanne, got to know her as a person, realized how much of a dickhead he was, and managed to change his way
She's also the most openly out one of this lot here, with the transgender flag embroidered onto her work maintenance jacket-outfit-thing.
And of course there is Isham, who only recently in the comic realized that she is non-binary. Like, her egg only just cracked. She hasn't come out to anyone yet, and is kind of afraid too still. That's her character arc at the moment.
Interesting thing of insider lore, I decided to make her crack her egg because I was tired of drawing her old hairstyle, and I wanted a good in story reason why she would change her hair so drastically suddenly. And "just because" just wouldn't have cut the mustard because of the timing of when I made this character design change.
