LGBT+ theme comics that aren't romance, any recs?

I run a comic called Outer Spaces! It's a LGBTQ+ comic that's less about romance and more about life and staying positive in a big and sometimes frightening world. It's got a lot of sci-fi/fantasy themes, and I'm developing the universe slowly in more detail. Might be up your alley.

Yay! I don't consider my own serie as a romance since the main topic is not watching how the characters are making out all the day. The Glow is a webcomic with a native American based style and pure fantasy; I know that some people has started reading the story for the BL and kept reading it for the feels hahaha

My comic Demoniac Verse is a modern/urban fantasy with some sexy elements, but it's not a romance comic. It focuses more on solving mysteries and fighting monsters, with a hopefully accessible sense of humor and fun. Its interpersonal focus is more on the relationships between friends and acquaintances, as well as people from widely different circumstances, than it is on any romance. There is of course affection and friendship, and sex is dealt with in a frank, open way.

I've got a drama/fantasy comic Fallacy with pretty large and varied LGBTQ+ cast, including main characters. Plot isn't romance driven as it focuses on consequences of decisions and characters trying to make through those safe and sound. There are some romantic subplots but they are definitely secondary to the main one.

No Future Is a comic about a boy who is accidentally killed by a god of death, as compensation he is given a second chance to live his life. Though now he has to do it along side a cast of gods. The main character is bisexual were there many other characters that fall under the spectrum as well.

The plot is a mix of drama, comedy, and fantasy, as it focuses on the main character living his life and trying to make the right decisions that will result in giving him a better future in the time he has left, as well as the complications brought alone with the other gods, their dramas and their wars. There is some romance, but it's not the focus. (as much as some of the readers would like it to be)

My comic Welcome Back has some LGBT characters. It's a surreal fantasy comic that takes place in our world with a strange dystopian dreamworld people share when they sleep. If you like really weird stuff it has psychological/body horror, cults, and dark themes.

Though I just rebooted the comic so not much is out yet.

The series has a romance between two guys but it's balanced with an action plot of catching radioactive ghost-animals. Over all it's meant to be fun.

I heard that Kings Folly is also going to have LGBT characters in the future.
FaLLEN clearly has something going on here, so I think it's safe to say it will have a little bit of it.

That's my comic, with at least 70 % of LGBT+ characters , but romance is not the main storyline.

Most of my characters in Cosmic Fish are LGBT+ with an ace/female-pronoun lead. Romance isn't the focus of the story and honestly, there's only going to be a little of it, if it helps!

It's a story about monster kids finding their place in a strange world, but continuously change in appearance by negative thoughts or personal doubts/fears/anxities in a world that has rejected them cuz spoopy monsters. So the comic follows their attempt to find balance/acceptance before the planetary guardians attempt to subdue them as a threat.

I have a space opera comic called SPEJS where the majority of the cast is LGBT+ and the focus is "kicking butt and having fun in a galaxy far far away" and friendship rather than romance at the moment =)

I highly suggest you check out Sharp Zero. It has most of the genres included in your post. Pretty cool dialogue and relatable characters.

On that note, I have a comic that features two guys struggling with friendship and dating and their ambiguos relationship. Its not action adventure but hopefully you'll check it out.

But in my comic The Tower most of my characters are of the LGBT spectrum,
it's not a big focus of the comic tho cause this is more scifi/fantasy with like, 0 romance?

Noir City is a detective noire themed mystery comic I'm currently writing. Its about halfway through the first chapter, but the two main leads are trans and nonbinary, and most of the cast is gay. The comic focuses on supernatural mysteries and the urban aesthetic, mostly. Romance is not a main focus of the comic : )
