Title: All My Colours
Genres: Romance, Slice Of Life, LGBTQ, Slow Burn, GL
Synopsis: In "All My Colours," we follow the courageous teen girl Katie as she makes her way through a fresh start against the beautiful backdrop of Whitby, Ontario, in 1996. Katie takes comfort in her everlasting friendship with her best friend, Amber, as she struggles with the uncertainty of her new beginning. Nevertheless, as time passes, Katie's affection for Amber grows into an overwhelming love, forcing her to face her feelings and embark on a journey of self-discovery. "All My Colours" beautifully captures the intricacies of youth, friendship, and the grit needed to embrace one's own self in the enthralling beauty of Whitby. Readers are left warmly reminded of the importance of first love and acceptance.
Content Warning: Whilst not being graphic in detail, the story contains themes of death, homophobia, stalking,
religious fanaticism and substance abuse. It is also implied later on in the story that a certain male character drugs and r*s the lead. This is shown through her beginning to feel woozy before passing out and awaking in a half-awake state in a dark bedroom to see the male character pulling on and fastening his jeans, as a few of the leads friends enter the room to find out what he had done.
Updates: I try to update the series as often as possible, but I'm currently balancing it upon three A-Levels and a music career, so apologies if updates are sometimes sparse. As time progresses I will try to release Seasonal Episodes (Non-Canon) and Character Bios.
