Hey all!

I already have a thread where I give feedback to anyone who posts their novels, but I have a lot of free time right now!
As a LGBTQ+ writer I know its not exactly mainstream for our stories to be advertised in media, or at least not representing us. That's why I want BAME and LGBTQIA+ people to post their work. I promise to at least read and comment on your first chapter. I'll have this thread running for a while.

I don't know how much feedback will be useful on comics as I'm not a comic creator but you can defo expect me to read and probably love it

Hey: Josh from the Future just clarifying. I didn't realize until now that BAME is a very UK thing. It stands for Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic. It's essentially a catch all for communities which aren't all white in the UK. I hope this wasn't too confusing and if it is, tell me and I'll alter the title

What does the IA mean? And what does BAME mean? (I've never heard IA being added to LGBTQ and I've never heard of BAME at all)

Oh!
I think BAME is a UK thing, sorry I'll clarify.

BAME stands for Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic. It's used a lot in the UK.
IA: I is Intersex and the A stands for Allied/Ace/Aromantic and Agender

Random: would asexual be offensive/not the best word? I know it can have a more biological connotation, like reproduction/budding.

I'm not entirely sure on that, I'm really sorry. A few of my friends prefer Ace but they've not really told me otherwise. If anyone here is ace and wants to input I'd be more than happy to change anything

Thanks @Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi for clarifying that for me

You don't have to check each one out, just any that may interest you. Nor do you have to give any feedback~

I have a lot of series1, but here are some highlights~

My on-going comic series, both in or nearing their endgame.

and then my favorite completed comic, a lgbtq+ paranormal drama/romance

and my on-going novel

Heya, I'm a biromantic asexual (I use ace and asexual pretty interchangeably, they're both fine by me ^_^ )! My comic is fantasy/action but with a heavily LGBTQ+ cast.

Hey there! I’m a lesbian who’s questioning their gender, and my new comic, Demonology, features a relationship between two lesbians!

DISCLAIMER: The two lesbian characters have not appeared in the story yet, but they are main characters and they will appear soon!

I've actually read a lot of your stuff @joannekwan I'm just awful and always lurk (habit I'm trying to get out of!) I'll defo go through some of your newer stuff tho <3

I'm Asian and consider myself an ally (though I've never heard it used as the "A" in LGBTQIA, but I know some of those letters get swapped out for different words every now and then). For some input on the "asexual" usage, I'm unaware of any opposition to the term other than from people who think they don't exist. The asexuals I have known have no issue with it and I've never heard an alternative for the word.

Anyway, I've got a gag comic:

Omg I am this thread. Puerto Rican Ace here (Asexual is fine, demi sexual if we wanna be specific.) Thank you for this.

My novel isn't LGBTQ+ centric, although there are two bisexuals an ace and a gay man technically, haha. I would love some feedback.

Well since I'm in two of those letters here is mine
