I actually quite love doing the inking, I don't know but I just do. Sure it can get frustrating but I've done so much inking not only for comic that it's just another thing to do now of course there'll be time when you "why the hell did I even imagine this panel" lol like one of my latest pages,

Actually I don't really mind line art.... If the topic were "coloring rage" I'd be a full 10 and then some...

I find that the only way to get my digital line-art to look organic is if I resorted to a sketchier style.
The thing about digital inking is that all the mistakes are glaring at you and your brain tells you to fix it immediately, thus making everything stressful.

I've been working with the mindset lately to use ctrl+z as little as possible. My stuff is starting to look a bit better now, but it's still STRESSFUL AS HELL.

I still hate inking
I just plan on pressing down my pencil lines really really hard

That sounds like a really good way to draw :o
I've always found digital drawing hard (colouring, I love, because traditional colouring makes me sad)

I shall keep that in mind for the future :DDDDDD

I don't remember who it was that showed me how to use the scanner. I love this scanner. Whomever invented the scanner I love you
Line art I find is tough as soon as you reach a new medium. On a scale of 1-10, 0 for traditional. a 9 for digital definitely just because it takes so much longer to do and look nice. Below is a pic of my traditional line art, scanned and then coloured digitally

I see what you mean xD I'm one of those people that DONT sketch at all, go straight from white paper to line art and just undo/erase if I mess up. But like you, I'm a perfectionist, so if the one line I drew even slightly looks bad (which is a huge issue for me when digital drawing is involved) I have to do it again... and again.. and again
