That does sound fishy.
It's possible the person used bots to drive views to their comic, or that the comic was shared on reddit or someplace so it got a lot of views, but it didn't catch enough interest to gain subs.

There's a comic on webtoon that has 137 subs and 80k views. And your comic that has nearly 15000 subs less views, I think that something is fishy.

Do you mean 80k views as in the total pageview that is shown on said comic's front page? That isn't an average views monthly. Unless you are the creator of said comic, there is no way to find out their monthly views. (Once again, unless, the creator of said comic publicly announced it, which I see no point why would they do that.)

still a 137 subs for 80k views is very fishy... My Boygirl has 2.1k subs yet it only has 59.4k in total pageview. Compare it, Who doesn't think it was not fishy.

How long have the series been on the website is the main question. It could turn out to be sorta like the series Hinata who sat at 9k subs but over 2 millions views. And that series turned out to be a stolen work from another comic artist on DA that was posted on Webtoon by a manga scanlation group.

I agree. Maybe that webtoon can't get subs since it needs to manually signup to line webtoon. unlike views, it can be manipulated as guests maybe. But Does guests reader counted as views too?

Now I'm just curious which comic it is. That is just so bizarre. I can't imagine having that many people interested enough to view the comic but deciding it was so bad they just didn't.

Getting 1k views over the last 1 hour from just ads still sounds kind of suspicious to me. (Yea I have been keeping an eye, also it’s slow traffic months for most business right now) Last I tried ads didn’t work that great unless u pay a tone of them.

I deleted my early post because I feel bad because his comic is downvoted a lot.

Yes. I can't see it anymore on webtoon, maybe the author deleted it himself because he wrote that he wanted to gain views and subscribers slowly. I contacted him on twitter.

Did someone contact and ask him if he used bots for all that views? I’m just wondering how come he suddenly talked about that now and decided to remove his comic.
