First off, thanks everyone for the feedback about Webtoon. It seriously was hard to get info on this and it still kind of stinks they don't go into more in-depth detail about what it means to be Featured on their site...
Hmmm, well I'm still kind of at an impasse here. It almost feels like a "selling your soul to the Devil" deal. XD I'm thinking I'm probably going to stick with uploading there, though it would probably mean I would have to take it mostly down from my main site and Tapastic were it to get featured (or at least I'd have to make Webtoon my 'main base' and upload it less elsewhere). I'd like to think it'd be worth it. I'd love to make Daniel my job until it's completion. XP Plus, you know, still only a 'possibility' situation...and who needs a soul, right? =D
Another downside would be I don't know if Daniel would be put into book form or not...but I guess that's not the end of the world or anything.
As for the bad comments...well, I can tolerate some Youtube-esque stupidity once in a while...so far I mostly get good ones. The worst one I got was that my text is too small, and for phones that's actually true, I didn't design my comic with mobile format in mind. Plus they can't stop me from coming back to these forums and talking to you guys for a breath of fresh air. But well, I'll wait and see just how bad the commentary can get.
I AM still wondering though if you become Featured if they expect you to pop out pages on a more regular basis or do they still let you work at your own pace? I've had a messed up arm for a good year now and doing more than one comic page a week is nearly impossible. Or even if my arm wasn't an issue, the detail alone just takes a LONG time anymore. X_x;
I'm also wondering if I'll get flamed like crazy for removing what I've uploaded of the comic to slowly reupload it in a more Webtoon-y format. XD Hey, I'm just aiming to make it more mobile-friendly based on people's complaints! Plus...it'd allow me to keep a more substantial buffer for a site that prefers long episodes...
