Yes. I can't see it anymore on webtoon, maybe the author deleted it himself because he wrote that he wanted to gain views and subscribers slowly. I contacted him on twitter.

Did someone contact and ask him if he used bots for all that views? I’m just wondering how come he suddenly talked about that now and decided to remove his comic.

Yes, someone did it and he said that he posted his comic on reddit, YouTube, Facebook etc. But he didn't have a lot views on his social networks.

I would imagine someone using bots would have had a ton of views on their other social media accounts too. I wonder if it was a glitch on webtoon. Sort of sad he deleted his comic.

I found out I got blocked by that creator on Twitter maybe he saw the Tapas post? Honestly if he really didn’t use bots, deleting his comic is the last thing he should do. It gives off the impression that you are trying to hide something. If you actually get a lot of views that is great. If you really didn’t cheat the system then there is no fear letting Webtoon take a look at your series to make sure. (It might be a glitch on their part and it could help out fixing their own system who knows)

But ah oh well.

Its hard to imagine that someone can get 90,000+ views in the span of a month, not using bots, having low social media views and during a time where even popular creators are struggling, and not expect foul play. Something was going on and frankly, I still put more trust in Webtoons.

With that said, if there was foul play, it's not like anything came out of it. It didn't end up skyrocketing the subs or gaining more patrons. Essentially other than views, no rewards arrived so there's only so much I can complain about. It's like someone going into a store and stealing a coat hanger. Wow, oh my god, bankruptcy abound.

It would be a far different story if it happened on Tapastic or a site similar where there's a correlation between views and ad revenue (or at least there was, not sure how it is now) Unless I'm mistaken or Tapas has a way to deal with it, I feel such a thing could easily be abused on here.

With Webtoons, again there's only so much I can complain about.

Oh darn... On that side note I thought this conversation stayed on Tapas and it's all just speculation. We should still be waiting on Webtoon for the final verdict. Who even went over to Webtoon to downvote or harass the creator? That's actually not good, things didn't have to go like that.

I agree. It's why I said it's better for Webtoon to take a look because I really can't think of how that many views can be generated so quickly. (My friend took a screenshot and told me the view was at around 40k on Sunday when we took a look again and the views went to 90k+) It might really be a faulty part from Webtoon for all we knows.

You're right! We're authors and all of us love making comics and knows how difficult it can be... Deleting your own comic hurts a lot, it's like killing a baby. I feel guilty for posting that screens and writing about that comic. Maybe he used bots or it was just a website glich, but it was wrong harassing his comic! I learned my lesson and next time I won't write something like this anymore.

Yes i found out you guys were raging on my webcomics over here a few hours ago, so much that you especially made an alt account to harass comment me, accuse me of botting in my comment section, not only that but lie about having no likes or views on my facebook page, on my youtube videos, wich i proved wrong on the comment section itself before i deleted it by linking to my real facebook webcomic page that has 278+ members : https://www.facebook.com/Le-Lion-Blanc-dArduinna-230396876988561/ Lying about getting only 15 views on most of my reddit posts when clearly i got a few going past 200 and 410 views where i link my webtoon to people, even on some unrelated with my water fasting like these

So not only you were both lying about this ON my own webcomic comment section by saying i have very little views on social platforms to justify what you were doing, but you go out of your way contacting "friends" on this premise / false proofs to harass and downvote harass me there. Not only this but you Blackeyes after what you have done dare come to my twitter and ask me "is everything okay ? did you delete your webcomic or webtoon did it for you ?" (don't let me add a "tee hee" of glee and enjoyment after that because i can only see how bad of a person you truely are and playing another game in front of people like "oh i'm so sorry it came to this, it wasn't controlled on my end, i'm so sorry i wanna cry" sure.

But way before i deleted it i myself sent support questions about the system, and when people asked this on my webtoon a week ago i already commented about line webtoon being a rigged place, because you gain lot of subscribers but no one actually interact with your comics, doesn't post comment, or likes, or anything of the sort and i started to believe this platform is actually rigged with some kind of algorithms that give you or not sub to make it "seem" like line webtoon is a thriving platform when in my experience in a month, this is not much, the return in real interaction is pretty poor.

I asked the support to look into this, i don't have the knowledge on how to use "bots" as someone said i would gain nothing from doing this because subs are more important and i started to think 70 to 80 % of subs given by line webtoon are fake too to simulate growth and "popularity" of the platform itself.

All in all, i didn't use bots, maybe you guys did use on my webtoon ? Because jealousy and stuff like I noticed you guys talk a lot about bots on line webtoon on these forums so you actually seem very familliar with this practice, as your webtoons are pretty high in the category you might be the one that have something to gain from pushing people out.

Because it's easy, you are allways the ones accusing other people of botting on these forums when you have 6mil or + views and little return in interaction VS the incredible amount of subs, so let me return you the question ?

I'll leave people think about this. I know for sure I did not use bots, i know from experience that most of subs aren't even real or interact on line webtoon, i know from seeing it that a fraction of these subs really push like buttons and push comment buttons

either way you won, it's true that i really like my project, my drawings, but i'm glad i won't share it anymore on this kind of platform, especially when you go out your own way specifically to make alts and make very toxic comment, accuse people, tell me i am lying in front of everyone on my own comment section, that i am a suspicious person, that i 'm fake, i m botting, i don't have talent and any views on social medias and so on.

You are very bad persons and trying to hide the truth by using your follower"s influence to flag people's argument is not okay and proof it's you that have everything to loose from your behavior, even this topic is solely based on hating about Line Webtoon.

Truth hurts doesn't it, it's why it's obvious you call your fans to flag these topics even when the subject has been archived and removed from the main place. This actually looks bad for you, and you realise that i am the one that has nothing to loose from my health situation, to my financial situation, it can hardly be worse for me but you guys are the one that realize you took on a miserable guy that you just hate

Yes, Tap regularly checks for bots I believe. I know they had a big clean out last year.
