Well, both Tapas and Webtoon has equally similar content outline, and both have roughly the same level of explicit content... hmm.

Btw, what do you guys personally think about the guideline about sex in the rating:

a)Teen: Suggestive
b)Mature: Sexual content
c)Adult only: Graphic sexual content

For me:
a) Expressed through dialogues and face expression only
b) Body tangling
c) Show genitals/penetration

my thoughts exactly. tapas is honest and webtoon isn't. that's the issue.

the way I observe many replies on here,they're going back and forth on the wrong issues, never catching the real problem. It leads me to believe some could be subscribers hungry and desperate enough to not care of anything else, just want the rating to stay teen so there'll be more people to subs, even 5 years old.

About the +17 tag i am not talking about BL in general. Obviously the age ratings should be judged according to the content and in a case by case base.

And was a warning not given? That's the whole point of the warning. To show that details of that specific episode will be more "Explicit" than before. LINE doesn't need to change a thing. People themselves just need to grow up. Heck, even the act of sexual conduct is still censored.

This is why the maturity filter is put there and its up to the reader to have a respect of maturity for their content. Besides, Webtoons isn't going to change their App from TEEN to MATURE when only a select amount of material only take up to the latter's aspect. They'll have...as shown...filters.

I think webtoons doesn't even read what they promote anymore.Lol. They were promoting dead comics (not update in months) some days ago. Well, this is irresponsible of them, anyways. It won't kill to read 2, or 3 episodes just to see what is about.

I'm just confused because I think some people in the thread want webtoons to be a todler app, not teens.
