Linking Patreon on your portfolio site?

I'm gonna admit I am not starting a Patreon soon because I want to focus on my portfolio. Though I am curious how many creators have linked their Patreon to their professional site? I haven't seen a lot of creators talk about linking the two together and it got me wondering if the two should be separate. Is it strange for an art director to see a Patreon of the illustrator that they are thinking of hiring?

My Illustration Portfolio is t eh one place I don't have a link for my Patreon. I put links on my tumblr, tapastic, twitter, and on my comic site... but I feel like linking on my portfolio site is unprofessional.

My patreon is kind of focused on funding my personal projects and comics as where my portfolio is for getting me freelance jobs. There's definitely a divide between the two for me.
