Does anyone have experience from sharing to Reddit directly from Tapastic? I am asking since most of the comics on Reddit seem to be linked to the comic's own web page or imgur.

Tapastic links on Reddits get automatically flagged and hidden.

A couple of years ago, a few users spammed excessively from Tapastic and the site has been placed on a black list, i guess.

So I wouldn't recommend linking your Tapastic series on Reddit. It won't get seen by other users on the site.

Some details on the issue:

I haven't heard of any fixes. As far as I know, it's still happening.

Probably the best place to start, is to open a dialog with the moderators of subreddits you want to post on. Ask them if Tapastic links are accept, why if not, and ask if Tapastic links get automatically flagged for spam.

A few members of the Tapastic staff and community did reply in @DavidDaneman's reddit thread. However, I'm not sure if anything was fixed or done after that thread was noticed by the subreddit's moderators.

@bjornar you could always try Topwebcomic. That seems to work well for some and the community has made a nice automated process for voting for each other to help each other get more views.
