I notice on the Mature side of the site, that same image is being used to promote the series and is used for the cover. I know that some of Mature covers can get more saucy and erotic, but that cover is just straight up porn.

Luckily in my front page there isn't this version of the banner, because it would be really embarrassing opening the app at work to maybe show my comic to some colleagues and then a this appear

I hate that this was just suddenly was shown to me multiple times and was pushed onto me out of nowhere.

You know what I really hate about this? Tapas has no age verification for this so this is probably being shown to a lot of minors. If I was a minor right this second I'd probably still have gotten this.

I also hate the double standards here. This series is monetized and can get away with whatever it wants, but the actual userbase has to block out nipples when characters go to the beach, as though people don't go to the beach and see nipples everywhere.

I feel like people are missing the point and getting angry over injustice that doesn't necessarily seem to be there...

This seems to be an error on the part of Tapas Promo Team. They had 2 banners, one that was for the mature, gated side of Tapas, and one that was for the front page which was appropriate for all ages. The Tapas Team mixed the covers up so the inapporpiate image was on the ungated side, and then didn't react because of timezones and work hours, they were all asleep. These sorts of images are not allowed to be on the app for anyone, and it never would have been were it not for a mistake.

The author and even most likely the author's team aren't responsable for the error, they might not even know it happened, so punishing them by kicking them off the site would be a really bad look for Tapas because they'd be punishing a creative for Tapas' mistake. The author isn't "getting away with this" because premium or whatever, this wasn't their fault.

I mean, even if it was for mature section there's still a big double standard on tapas side (I have no issue with the author, whatever happened is clearly tapas' work) because I know from experience that showing this much in an off-app series, behind mature content warning will get your series pulled off the site, even if it was on a scheduled update not yet visible on the site (happened to me when I used mosaic not chunky enough)
