Last week, my father called me and asked about some writings he found. It was obviously my chaotic handwriting but I had no memory about the story whatsoever. So we had a conflict, I was able to take the papers back and turns out it was a story from when I was in high school :')

Funny thing, it was not bad. I actually enjoyed reading it with a small feeling of embarresment. I would be brave enough to share it here if it were in English..

I found my ooooooldest drawings in December but I havent scanned them yet (its 2 big boxes of drawings) so I will show one from the 2000's sketch of an attempted poster of my onglong story

man, back in that time I was experimenting to give them the dorito face lol cause I was told I still have that rounded faces from the 80's style....
I regreted. When I found my other old drawings and notes about them I grimmaced for that horrid attempt xD

I have done one of these in a while. I'm pretty sure I drew this fanart when I was 14 or so. The proportions are off and the shading is... there. So that's nice.

This one is actually a year old, I drew it last February, but I think it makes a good comparison:

Oooh I really like that second paragraph. I love reading romantic stuff with lots of imagery like that ️

As for me... I have this Pokémon comic I did on the side in 2018, while I was only about a year (give or take a hiatus) into my main comic. I still really like a lot of the panel compositions, even if my solid drawing skills weren’t the best. Here’s my favorite page:

And then the last year or so... I've updated DA slowly this past year.

I was curious when I got a program that had access to pressure sensitivity. According to devart it was in early 2007.

Unlike most people here, I was a total shit when starting. What is so brave of sharing your already good drawings, you cheaters!

The character on the left is a prototype of the character on the right.

Below is a fairer comparison, of the same character in the same outfit, from the first time I transitioned into a digital artist versus now. I feel like this one is really ugly because the proportion is shit, but hey, this thread tells us to be brave. Also, it is not like my current drawing is that good to be proud of myself.

I want to rant more about how shit my improvement rate compared to the time passed, but I remember I am just a lazy hobbyist who do not take my hobby seriously. I am bringing this upon myself

Those first two pictures were from 2020 when I was first dabbling with the idea of a webcomic and hadn't drawn in years haha
