Hello! I have this story that has been lurking in my mind for almost a week. I wanted to write it and submit it online, however, I thought that maybe this story would come much better in comics than in letters. The genre is mainly romance focusing on mental awareness (I am occasionally suffering from depression andsocial anxiety so that's where I get the idea). I am thinking of publishing it in webtoon for larger audience. I can draw a little bit, like portraits and anime characters but not digitally that's why I'm looking for a comic artist that could help me in this "conquest".

I only have 10 bucks on my pocket right now so I don't think I could pay you anything for now but the only thing that I could promise you is my dedication in this story. If you are interested , please contact me in this email: kkumkugo@gmail.com, I am very much willing to discuss the story with you!

Thank you and have a great day!

Summary, genre, character designs, characters bio, characters personality, world building etc... arrange it into a draft comic format, you can use stick man and simple dialog. When you already have draft for at least 1 chapter, bring them here, or send them directly to the artist you interested in, that is how a writer look for an artist. Have a story in your mind is basically you have nothing yet.

Not to be mean but just a suggestion. Since it's hard for writers to get some artist to draw for them unpaid, you may want to use a software called 'Mangamaker Comipo' just to illustrate the story. If you we're thinking of anything more than average art, you should consider having cash. I'm an artist myself and just by drawing my own story takes a huge toll on me and consume most of my time to make. Anyways, hope you find one though, there's some people out there I know it.

Thank you guys for all your tips! You are all right, maybe I have been rushing this a bit, I got a little bit excited there. Anyway, thank yooooouuuuuuuuu again!

I don't think you're being mean at all, you're telling it like it is.

So many people have an idea and want someone to write it or draw it or whatever, for free.

What these people don't comprehend is the people who can do the drawing have plenty of their own ideas. They're not going to drop everything their doing to do someone else's thing for no money.

This is just something that needs to be made clear to people.

Indeed it's hard to find artist who would agree to draw for free as it takes times and of course as someone said they also have their own ideas. What can work better is to have friends who would wanna start this project with you. If they can draw a little and they want to do this together with you for fun, that would be a good start. A fun project between friends at first then it could grow into something bigger who knows? A lot of my friends who are doing comics with another person has started this way. They say working with an artist who is total stranger is hard because if it's for free many would not want to do it. But I like how you're honest and saying it as it is. Wish you luck.

No one asked them to drop their own things. No one is forcing them to do their things. Its up to the artist to pick up working on someone else stuff. Sometimes it happens
