Here is something you can do to get someone interested in working with you
+ it´s also fun and a great practice
Write a complete episode as a comic book script.
A summary of the complete story.
Character descriptions of the characters.
Then make character turnarounds for the characters. You can use
games like "The Sims" to create characters when you can´t draw.
Get reference pictures for the locations and then character interaction.
You can build location references for the artist in apps too (for the school,
home of the characters etc). You can use a 3d modeling program, architecture
program or you can use the Sims for that too.
When you finished all of this you can make a story board for the first episode.
Use screenshots of the characters, reference pictures, you can also fill in screenshots
of videos.
Finish all of this and the chance to find someone to work with you is much higher.
And the chance that the comic will go into a direction that you like will also be much higher.
It saves you and the artist a lot time and would sound like an iteresting project which is
more realistic to manage
