So i want to please tell me about yourself and your comic so i can get to know you both. I will go and like ask for stories on your tapas wall. Yeah i've seen you around here in the forums. I remember that this is where I got the link to The Megalith Symphony a month ago. I'm Mappy and paint flies when i'm having fun (I'm an airbrush artist so I spray paint). My hobbies are: drawing comics, fabrication, crafting, and video games. This is the first time I am replying to a post like this, so I don't know where to start :'D

I'm Juta, a salty and sarcastic adult, with a grim humour, but I am not mean to others by any means UwU
Others see me as a senpai, and I try to be always there if someone needs my help. I got some experience with various stuff, so you can always ask me things if you feel the need. Sometimes I am slow with replying though. Especially if people ask me for a review, because I have to take my time writing all my thoughts.

My comics are mostly aimed at adults. I grew out of shounen and shoujo stuff a while ago haha, so my characters are all mature (like around their 20's - 30's) Well considering my age, it's kinda obvious...

My most known comic is "I'm Mortal", it's about a reaper who finds a human friend. But he's keeping his true identity a secret, because he's afraid the human would panic and run away from him if he'd know the truth.

Heya @United_cuttles ... welcome to the Tapastic forum. It's a really great, super friendly community here! Your link to your comic is broken on your post (oh no!), so I'm going to check it out from my PC when I get home in a bit. I'm always happy to get to know new folks, though!

I'm Don. I'm kind of old, or at least I feel old compared to a lot of folks here: 32 years. I work as a stage actor and a playwright. I'm trying to make the transition to being a graphic novel writer, but I really dig all different types of storytelling ... theater, film, television, books, video games, comics, Dungeons and Dragons. I was raised by a half Catholic, half Native American family. I feel a very strong connection to my Native ancestry, and grew up with storytelling being a really big, important part of my life.

Right now, more relevant to Tapastic ...

• I'm writing Atonement, a gritty mystery/horror space opera. Growing my audience has been slow going here, but the folks I've met through Tapastic, and the ones following my comic on Tapastic, are sorta the best. I really like people here.

• I'm one of the new staff contributor and writers for StArt Faire magazine.

• I'm working with a couple of great artists on I, Necromancer ... a gothic fantasy/horror comic book designed for print that sort of follows the villain as its protagonist.

I love writing. I love to talk about writing and stories. And I'm always happy to chat with folks and help them out with their own projects however I can. : )

Lifewise, I'm in my first semester of College working towards a double major in Computer Science and Graphic Design.
I like all things art, be it drawing, painting, singing, dancing, theater. I LOVE theater. I also enjoy a good talk about politics ^^
I make games on flash for the heck of it too. Right now I'm working on a dress up game (for a contest) and a visual novel.

Nintendo is good, I like Nintendo (especially LoZ).....I like most non-romance anything and some romance somethings (The realistic romance with kind of a slow buildup of feelings and emotions is good, but not the endless pit of love at first sight romance)....and I have a tendency to dislike things with female protagonists (don't ask me why, but probably because most girls 3D and 2D seem more than a little fake and wanna-be-ish to me) I like most adventure/action/comedy animes/mangas/stories, but absolutely no yaoi or yuri (call me whatever people like me are called, I couldn't care less, straight love or no love, imo, tho I am trying to learn to be a little more tolerant)

I have a comic but it's a work in progress so I won't share a link. IF you really want to see it let me know and I'll pm it to you.

The description is this though: "Demons. Evil, mostly emotionless creatures to be feared. But what happens when a demon saves an elf's life?" It's about a 1/2 demon who everyone thinks is a full demon who wants to stop the creation of new demons (because in this world the demons aren't from hell, they're people who are cursed by a being from some alternate dimension so their consciences are locked away, making them emotionless creatures that revel in bringing despair and misfortune to others)

Anyways....pardon my little bit of rambling....hopefully I can get my comic up and running soon (since I'm a writer and not an artist so I have the story but another aspiring artist is doing the artwork)

I'm Hop cool to see ya on the forums, I mostly have seen you on the main site. I like drinking, bitching about dumb stuff, and watching hip western cartoons. Anime and manga were actually how I started drawing and even though I'm not as into it as i was a couple years ago I still have love for it. I usually post on here in batches when something interests me. (not a lot lately.)

I've been meaning to make my way through yr comics, and I was gonna mention that you being in Michigan makes me yr neighbor directly to the south. (I have family up there and it's a beautiful state.)

I'm Myl, I've been on Tapastic since 2014 and I've made plenty of buddies through others comics and just going up and dropping a message on people's walls, attending live-streams, and chatrooms set up by Tapastic users. I'm not sure if the forums are the best place to find buddies (unless you're making a post like this), but I do often run into a lot of my Tapastic neighbors here.

I also like anime and manga, but I haven't consumed as much as I have when I was younger (I think it's just because it's hard to find something refreshing now-a-days in the endless wave of mediocre). Now a days I get most of my entertainment from indie-creators animations and webcomics. I also love to cosplay and explore/ studying into how things work like animatronics, cgi & 3D animated movies, video-games, and makeup prosthetics. For the last 7 years I've managed to attend at least one convention annually. This year I'll likely be attending 4-5 cons in the area. I'm currently studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain for a year, so I've been on hiatus/ semi-hiatus for most of my comics (until May-June when I return home). Despite this I still make an effort to be active on the site.
