I am looking for an artist who would be interested in collaboration (not paid) on a sci-fi/drama webtoon.
Title: Matches / Matchsticks
Genre: Sci/Fi, Drama, Psychological
Summary: This story is taking place in a dystopian world in which people are divided into two groups.
Low-class citizens living in the city called “Oblivio” and people who are “afraid of the earth”,
skywalkers living in “Inanis”.
Servius, the main character is fighting for money in the arena, where every confrontation can
end in death. Blood and pain are part of his life which is slowly going to an end. He only
postpones the day when he finally meets death, which walks through the city’s streets. Every
day is a struggle to survive, a tired man needs to be careful with making any decision. Is it
better to be hungry or break another bone in the arena?
Servius’s big dream always was to walk in the sky at least once. For a long time, it was
something completely impossible. Everything changes after meeting someone who used to
live in the sky. One of the AI serving Inanis’ citizens goes down on the eath and seeks for a
person to make a deal with. Diodor (it is an AI name) wants to gain five senses to finally
feel. In the exchange, he offers incredible body and skills.
Each exchange between Servius and Diodor changes them physically, but also mentally. AI
becomes more human and at the same time, a man starts to feel increasing hate towards people and himself.
