Hey guys, first of all, happy new year to everyone. I'm Marcos and I've been working on this huge open world project for a few months now. It's already all structured but I am in need of an editor.

My story's details:
Genre - Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Drama (with a lot of comedy)
Chapters - 25
Style - Novel style, but with the arts of the main characters displayed at the end of each chapter.
Plot - Trevor, a so far ordinary 18 year old boy, sees his life turn all upside down after a weird creature from a different dimension puts a price on his head. On his descent to the ugly truth about everything, he will be forced to grow up and learn how to become a strong leader to defeat all the threats that are a menace to his world.
Type of fiction - It involves a lot of mythological creatures and tribes, such as demons, yokais, witches, gypsies...

What I'm looking for - An editor who can not only proofread, but change the format of the dialogues to look like a novel instead of a script (which is how I usually write them).
Payment - It is unpaid for now, since my country is totally broke and dollar is out of reach to buy, but I can offer my services as musician or translator to many languages as a return. Also, all profits of the story will be shared equally to the whole team, and your name will be credited as well

Is that a completed story or do you need an on-going editor? (I think I'd prefer to plow through a completed one than commit right now to a long-term collab,) Can you post a link to the beginning chapter, so I can see what there is to work with?
I've been writing short stories here for a couple years & also VA scripts for a little while. I've been editing/proofreading for Aarrevaara (the english veresion) by tiim HaT.

You have 25 chapters already that are like the first one? That's around 225 pages or more. It will take quite a lot of work to recast the story into novel form, I think. Some parts will need bits added to convey info that is presently shown by the script labels of who is speaking, Plus the editing for more natural English.
Suppose I edited the 1st chapter & you use that to help you reformat the rest?

Since the 1st one is pretty much an opening thing, it's probably the one with more pages than the others. I was hoping for an editor cause there is a lot to expand beside the 25 chapters and I really suck at editing, I'm more of a storyteller only. So I'm looking for a long term thing, maybe editing a chapter per week
