Hello! I’m an author and amateur artist, who’s written a lot and published nothing. I hope to turn that around with this project.
Two guys, the shy and introverted social outcast Liam Wheeler and the outgoing school star Nathan Jones, go on a walk after hitting it off at a party. After heading deep into the woods, the earth suddenly caves in beneath them and they plunge into a deep pool. As they struggle, a mysterious pair of spine-like beings fuse with them.
A few days later, the two begin to develop psychokinesis- the ability to move objects with their minds. They begin to practice in Nathan’s garage, graduating from lifting feathers to nails, and then moving on to larger objects. As their powers grow, the duo begin to play pranks and have fun. But no good thing lasts forever...
Payment would be an even split of profits, to be discussed later. I’m looking for a long-term partnership, but I do have an idea for an end point. I hope to publish this eventually,
I’m primarily looking for an artist who’s capable of good, consistent work. Style is negotiable, although I would rather have a manga-like or realistic style. The comic will be in black and white, with occasional splashes of color.
I would like to create a weekly webcomic, although that’s negotiable. I’m aiming to run this for a few months at least to see how it goes, and decide if I want to continue it or not.
