Ok, I might be able to help, but I don't know if I can do 160 1k word chapters a month. That's an insane amount of work, and I also draw a webcomic.

But if you want to see what my writing is like you can check out one of my novels:

Let me know if you're interested in me editing for you.

Hey let me know what your discord is, don;t worry there are sevreal proof readers, about 6 or so, so the work is split between eveyone

It's Cronaj#5896. Let me know how you want to do this

Though my grammar isn't the best I'm willing to help you out for free if you still need help.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know if it had permission to be used. Btw I am sending an editor your way. Do you mind sending writing your discord ID in your main post so people can add you?

Looks like we all had the idea of just throwing his stuff into the spellchecker and charging him a dollar for it.

Hi, I heard of your job posting from a friend and I would like to work as your editor. I'm a longtime user of Webnovel and would be honored to work with the #1 original author. I already sented you a friend request on discord we could talk there

Why i dont understand lol? I wirte about 6 chapters a day and spend 20 minutes on editing, if i can get somoene to just proofread it will cut my time down by about 2 hours

This whole thread makes my head hurt. Pumping out that sheer volume of content and expecting someone to keep up with that working condition, underpaying editors, using stolen artwork of a copyrighted franchise...

This is a bad look. If you're an established author, you should not be exploiting your editor at $1 per 1000 words and certainly not at that volume with a turnaround that fast. That's no where near the industry standard for editing and is unethical.

(For the record - copy/proofreading is usually around $0.019 per word which works out as $19 a chapter for this. To give you an idea of how lowball this actually is).

Im not looking for preffosinal work, im litreally just looking for someone to stick inot word and right click what is underline in red.

I already pay an editor 5 percent of what I earn.
If this was an amozon official work, yes which i do pay aorund $2000 per volume for Line editing work as well. Im just asking for people to help not looking for professinals.

IF i was to pay for an editor for the amount of chapters and words i do that would be $4K per month.

But what you said was:

Also do you have Atlus' permission to be using Joker to sell your novel? Pretty sure he's trademarked.

Not a professinal proof reader, i thought it was clear by coming onto a forum place like this that i wasn't look for a professinal and thats what i meant by spell check.

As stated above, it is a place holder image. I have already paid for a commsion cover but it si in the process. I really wanted a perticular artist and he has a backlog of commsions at the moment.

99 Percent of covers on webnovel are not thier work. Webnovel has said this is fine, (I don;t know the legal details of it they have even paiid for facebook ads using the cover annd instagram ads. and they know its from persona.) But i know this is not right, which is why i am commsioning someone for a new cover, like i did my other cover for my other novel.

Webnovel is wrong from a legal standpoint here completely. Completely and utterly wrong and they could end up in legal hot water on this - as well as the authors on their platform who are using copyrighted or trademarked artwork in their covers. I've noticed you're still using that on Tapas, and that's definitely not allowed here.

People still deserve to be paid for their work. A dollar is literally nothing for what amounts to proofreading and copy-editing. Regardless of experience level.

This doesn't matter from a legal standpoint. What you have is a commercial venture, and so you need to be squeaky clean from the start. Saying "I've used copyrighted materials temporarily because I didn't wait for non-copyrighted materials" doesn't work from a legal standpoint at all.
