Looking for lettering tutorial

Hi guys.

I'm a writer, I don't really have any drawing skills but I wanted to explore some other parts of the process of making comics besides the writing part.

So, lettering seems interesting for me, and I'm looking for a way to learn how to do this process. Do you know any tutorial or blog about lettering?

This is the blog for Jim Campbell- letterer. He has a tutorial of how to letter comic books. He's the letterer on many comic books, including my fave- Giant Days & Joyride for Boom comics.

Not sure if you have a program for lettering comics, but you could either A) buy Clip Studio(one time pymt of $50)- it's a comics "all-in-one" program(drawing/inking/coloring/lettering) in which you could use learn to letter...OR you could B) pay for subscription service to Adobe Illustrator(I think it's $50 a month) and use that program to letter. There are other programs out there as well, but I primarily stick with Illustrator. I have Clip Studio, but I havent learned to letter in that program yet.

Lettering is a fun aspect to me, coz there's no limit to the possibilities of the way you can letter a book.

I hope this doesn't come across as spam, because I assure you that's not my intention. But I'm working on making my Youtube channel one that offers tutorials & walkthroughs about comic making, from panels, to story, to lettering, and everything else in between. I also want to make videos on how people can pitch to publishers or get started as webcomics and basically everything comic related.

I also do timelapse videos of illustrations, comic pages, or other artworks. I plan on doing a simple lettering tutorial soon, then i plan on doing a more advanced one later.
