Nope, that's perfectly acceptable and actually very welcomed! It'd be good to have that sort of diversity in background characters.

I feel like Dobble (left) and Ed (right) would blend into a crowd pretty well. Nothing about them that really stands out... besides Dobbs' enormous nose Feel free to use them if you want. Love your art and whether or not you choose to include my guys, I'm definitely subscribing!

This is so awesome of you! I'm actually interested in putting background character cameos in my comic, and reading your post really helped clear up a lot on topics I hadn't thought about.

Here are my characters Saedie (left) and Amirah (right). Feel free to use them for whatever helps the story! I'm okay with them dying, dancing, whatever XD And I know Amirah has ears and a tail, so feel free to edit these out if needed. And artistic liberty given with their masks

Those guys will work just fine! Though I'll obviously have to make Dobbs' nose a little more realistically proportioned (I'll still keep it big though!).

Doing cameos for other people is a blast, I absolutely love doing it! I'm glad I could help out. This list is pretty much made from trial and error of people volunteering characters and me realizing I couldn't use them for some reason I didn't specify. I'm sure you'll have to make edits to your own rules as well depending on your universe's restrictions!

Hm! Those could be fun masks! Though I'd probably have to make some modifications (Such as just using the top half of some of their faces so the wearer has access to their mouth). Would that be alright with you?
