Hey guys! I've just uploaded my first Series Vast Blue but I'm also interested in seeing other artist who are drawing manga styled comics. Mine will have a shonen feel to it but I don't mind seeing other types. I just want to know how its been posting OEL (Original English Language) / Non- Japanese Manga and any success/struggles you've had.

Hi, your series looks pretty cool, I subscribed so I'll be reading it when I have some time later. I definitely dig the artwork as well. My series is an anime/manga inspired story named R:ILPERSONA29, but the style is more "anime"-ish than anything else...the goal was basically to make it look like an anime in print form. I just started showcasing my series here as well, good luck!!

Your art looks great as well! Definitely a subscribe for me!! Thanks for following Vast Blue as well.

Also subscribed! I like your art a lot! The action is really well-done as well! It does look a little cramped between pages though. Maybe space out things a little to fit the vertical format better? :3

Mine is The Underground.20 smile Random example page lol

Thanks for Subsribing and the advice!! I think spacing will be a great Idea. I was wondering why it seemed so cramped compared to others lol I will be checking your series out shortly.

Your style looks great! Can't wait to read it smiley

Mine is actually set in my home town (In the US) so yeah, definitely original english manga xD
My friends keep telling me to make it more western style, but I really prefer manga style more. So I try to keep it true to that art form haha it hasn't been around long enough to really know if its had any success or failures yet, but I guess I'll find out!

Here's mine, called Malleus Maleficarum22 (keyboard slam lol). I'd like to find more manga-styled comics on Tapastic as well, hope more people will post they're OELs here ^^

^^^dude this looks really bad ass. It almost has a Hunter X Hunter vibe with the way some of the panels are.

I just checked this out and subscribed! Man, I'm getting excited about all this talent! You really know how to use tones and do backgrounds really well. I struggle with both lol

You make some great action scenes! I just read that you're only 14-15 too! I saw you mention your experience but don't worry about that. Keep drawing and keep studying and you'll be a phenomenal artist!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you think so!
Just keep doing it smile Tones, and backgrounds especially take all the patience in the world. The struggle is too real haha.

Thank you! It's a bit of a slow start, but the story kicks in eventually ><
I have subscribed to your as well! Your use of tone+black with backgrounds is really good : )

Looks cool. Woo another to add to my read list. Gonna have a fun week.
Do you post on other sites as well? I feel as if I've seen your work in other sites as well.

As for me, Identity2's my comic. Check it out if you'd like.
Style wise, it definitely leans toward manga. It even reads right to left. Mainly since manga was my influence so I thought I should "honor?" It's roots. But story wise, like yours, set in the U.S.

Actually I made many changes to my original idea cause originally all the characters were Japanese taking place in Japan. But problem came in. I didn't know anything about the area or culture outside of what I get from manga. So I ended up matching the main characters ethnicity to that of mine own and changing the location my hometown.
Makes the story more accurate In a sense and I get to use more cultural references based on my own experiences.

End of wall of text. Sorry bout that XD
