@EiraQueenofSnow and @ArtistHan : You both have a very interesting style. I'll be checking it out.
@Tanisha: Your work looks very polished and almost publication-ready, but I'd suggest you put more effort into laying out your face proportions in 3/4 view? Because that's the main place where you have noticeable errors.
Pitching in my two cents. My comic, as you can tell by the name, is obviously very manga-influenced, but... in sort of a different way than most peoples'. I wouldn't call it "ironic," but it is kind of a deliberate homage - the story's about an anime fangirl, so I decided to develop a manga-like style to draw it in.
...Well, two manga-like styles. Half of it takes place in real life, which has a seinen-like style (my biggest influences, art-style-wise, are Naoki Urasawa (Monster/20th Century Boys) and Satoshi Kon (Paranoia Agent/Paprika). The other half takes place in the main character's fantasies, where I based the art style mainly on JRPG concept art and shonen/shojo anime.
This page shows the difference between the two styles:
There were several pages where I kinda diverted from the style by experimenting with using pencil shading, but I'm back to it and I'm going to redo those pages.
Anyway, you can read it here.
