Mangaforadult.com appears to be monetising some Tapastic comics

There are some Tapastic comics there yet. If you ever find one, tell the creators about the problem and send them the link of this topic. Explain them that only reporting the site to the hoster won't solve the problem and suggest them to take note of the site's PayPal account and report it to PayPal. Link them one of the replies to this topic regarding this matter. Only who's directly affected by this can report the site's PayPal account.

I have already contacted the authors of the comics that are currently on that website about it weeks ago but I received no reply from them so far.

Which ones did you find there?

There is a quite clean solution for creators - snap on a direct link to your tapastc, kickstarter or patreon account in between panels on each page.
Everyone who dares to steal your creation will be forced to cut the link out (which is a fokk load of editing) or will spread your ad over the net.

This will not solve a problem, but will make your creation a bit safer.

Thats my humble opinion and I can be wrong.

The one thing in common in most of the comics mentioned is that they are inactive or haven't been updating for a couple of months, which probably explains why they haven't responded to my private messages. Perhaps they've read them already but most of the artists are from Korea and probably had trouble understanding..?

It's probably not possible for a third party to report it to Paypal... Or is it?

Wow, this sucks big time... I didn't check the website since I'm at work but yeah...

Just to put my two cents about Tapastic's protection : even if you can't save the image with a right click, you can drag and drop it on your desktop or a personnal folder :/ (I have no idea if bots can do that though)...

The site seems to be back on service however I am not sure if the comics from Tapastic are still being used without the creator's consent.

Thank you for your concern and help. Most of the Korean creators that have been on Tapastic have been uploading their content through me. Since the language barrier is there it may be difficult for them to be able to respond to those. So, I've taken the lead and sent a DMCA notice to the site itself. If the site does not comply (I've given them until the weekend), then I will go ahead and send a DMCA notice to the server host.

This will take the site down and then it'll be back after some weeks.
What you need to try is to take note of the site's onwer's PayPal account and report it to PayPal. I don't know if it'll strongly affect the person behind this or not (honestly I think it will - but only taking the site down will not) but it's worth giving a try.

This is pretty scary...not to mention incredibly disrespectful and just wow, I'm so peeved at the sheer audacity. Artist work hard on their craft with their own two hands, and to come in and take what someone else made...UGH I can't even. I need a cold shower and just cool off my anger.
