Is this topic still alive? I just got an issue with MangaToon and their submission terms is indeed very shady. They suddenly made an Otome version of my book Doted by the Alpha and didn't notify me about it on top of not crediting me as the author and making it pay to read. I messaged MT about how I didn't like what they did and warned that I would press legal charges so after a day of it on their platform's front page, they finally deleted it. They apologized and offered to credit me for my work and 35% royalties to the gold coins but saying that they have the right to adapt to my work without prior notice since it was already mentioned on their submission terms and I agreed to it when I uploaded my work on their platform. I know it's my fault for not reading their term and condition when I uploaded my book on their platform but this was insane. From this experience, I will from now on take my time reading the terms and condition before I upload any of my books to other platforms.
