Medibang - Can You Save Keyboard Shortcuts and Workspace? And also, is there a way to get rid/change the cursor settings?

Hi. I recently switch from Krita to Medibang and was wondering if you can save keyboard shortcuts and settings. I plan to reinstall it since its giving me problems (Weird lag of cursor where the initial mark is left behind and there is parallax when I draw). I made a good amount of change to the shortcuts keys and layout of the workspace. I want to avoid redoing all of it. And the circle around the cursor is very inaccurate in terms of sizing and distracting when drawing. Is there anyway to change the cursors? I want to give some change recommendation on the official website itself, but I don't know how to contact them and they don't seem to have an official forum. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi there! To answer your question yes you can! I haven't made many changes to them myself, though I've used medibang for awhile, but the steps are pretty simple.

First you'll go to File > then select Shortcut Settings

From there make the changes you want for each function (all by key press from what I recall) and then you'll save It by clicking Initialize and then OK

I'm not too certain if changes can be made to the cursor but there may be something in the Environment Settings under File

It might be a bug or something, but when I click Initialize, a prompt comes up saying "Restore default settings?" I'm afraid if I press ok, it will restore to default settings.

Okay so I just checked it and not a bug. The thing with medibang is that selecting Initialize does return it to it's default settings. It operates just the same as Restore preset for brushes, palette and materials under Help.

So the way to change it is clicking the specific function (like file > new) click edit and you're given a prompt to hit the desired keys after that just clicking okay will lock it in.

The FAQ for medibang is a bit lengthy so the best way to speed things up might be to use the search function

Thank you for the fast reply and help. So it works by locking in the shortcuts key already and when I do uninstall, and reinstall Medibang or update it in the future, the keyboard shortcuts will be the same way I changed it (somehow backed up even when I get rid of the program), hopefully (Krita does that, no idea if medibang does). I wasn't sure if that is what you meant.
And the night before, I scanned through the FAQ and read some of them fully, others I already know the answer to and others that wasn't of interest. Unfortunately, they don't have the specific questions that I need help with. Wish they had a forum for questions, etc

It's no trouble really. But yes it does lock in those shortcuts as soon as you've hit okay. And from my experiences when you update medibang it saves any and all previous made changes from keyboard shortcuts to brushes and brush settings as well as pallets. It does pay to have backups saved just in case however so I'd recommend that as well.

I know that you can find certain source code files if you go to Help > and Open Config Folder...
I usually prefer not to tamper with anything there but it has it's uses when it comes to finding certain things not easily found upfront.

file -> environment settings -> enable auto recovery -> turn of x
TO SAVE KEYBOARD SHORTCUT
file -> shortcut settings -> chose shortcut -> edit -> ok
