Hello! I'm blitzkreed, the author of Aurexis.
Recently, I had a thought in my mind about mashing up different genres or settings for one's own story.
For example, in Aurexis, I've basically taken this idea of a Cyberpunk World, riddled with corruption and a false sense of reality and justified it with a fantasy concept for its reason of existence.
Although what I'm talking about won't be essentially revealed until the 2nd Arc of my Story, theres been this burning question in mind of whether there are any Authors in this platform that have dabbled in this idea themselves too.
Many people would say that its better to create multiple different projects with those various settings or genres you like.
So my question is: Do any of your Stories mix up Genres and Settings? Or are you the type to be strict on accuracy and not changing what needs to be changed to help the story flow better?
