When you speak as many languages as I do, you stop caring about what language is it in :3 I only translate comics into my OWN language, Spanish, to get even more readers, haha.

The Language original of my webcomic is in Espanish. you can read in Englinsh and Spanis, my webcomic is EeGoo ¬¬6

My comic Hearts3 is in Spanish. I upload it in English for the sake of the audience, but I also offer the original version using the translation tool wink

Tres españoles seguidos ^^

Por cierto, así echando una mano,el inglés de tu cómic está asín asín >.<

I only make my comics in English, as I write the stories in English as well, although my Native language is Hungarian. None of my comics is translated to Hungarian because not many people speak it, and I'd love to reach big audiences. some of the jokes also don't work in my language. And also there is no Hungarian option on Tapastic smiley

My webcomic Tales of the Lost Souls5 is also available in French : )
I post it in English first, not because I'm ashamed of my language or something, but beacause I think telling stories is all about sharing. It would be very sad to cut your story from the rest of the world just because it is better written in your mother tongue. I have language issues and things that are difficult to translate into English, such as "vouvoiement" (a polite "you"), but, well, I cope with it.
It's worth it! The Internet is almost universal, everybody can access it. Since English is, for now, the most internationnaly known language on the net, it would be a shame not to use it to share stories and feelings.

My native language is italian, but I post it in english because I love english language and translating from italian to english helps me improve my english skills.
Then yes, I like to reach more people and have a wider audience, so it's not a problem to sacrify my native language smiley .
Italian isn't even on the "Add Translation" tool, btw stuck_out_tongue
But... well, your idea isn't that bad. I could start posting the pages in italian.

Mi inglés es muy nulo, y la persona que me lo traduce me lo hace muy barato, por lo que que no tengo a mi alcance una traducción mejor :V

Echo is published in English on Tapastic, not because I'm ashamed of my native language, but because I want people to read it. Since French isn't the most used language anymore, it's normal for me to adapt it to a larger crowd who will understand it.
But I do have a website for Echo in french1, where there is much, much more informations about the characters, the universe and the story. And also, the story is 30 pages forward, but this is because I'm slow at translating (so I let you guess if I translate 30 pages of background stories) frowning

Also, I've remarked that if I stayed in the original version, it would have been really hard for me to reach people, or to just make a public ; I have a way more readers in the foreign version than in the original one. And I think it's still great, because people actually read it!

My first language is Spanish, but I write and draw my comics in English first (translating it to Spanish is on my to-do list but I need to find the time for that!). I started doing most of my work in English not because of "popularity", but because when I started making comics, 90% of my comic-making friends were English speakers, so it only made sense. Also I've...never completely clicked with my local comic community, but I'm working on that now xD

Buff que mal macho. Dependiendo de lo que pagues igual te puedo echar una mano, que soy profe de inglés stuck_out_tongue

My comic Curse lineage2 is in english but it has a spanish version just the first 2 episodes as i have to find the time to translate the rest. smile

My comics're originally written in hungarian. I upload it of course in hungarian to my webpage, but I'm curious what foreigner think about them, so having an english verison is important for me smile There're a lot comic on tapastic in other languages, but I'm always sad, when I find something well-made, but none english translated works.
