If you view more as a sci-fi version one of the WWII resistance intrigue movies, Captive State ain't bad.

Now for a sci-fi movie that was confusing and bad, there's Xtro. It wasn't just confusing and bad, but it felt like it was also being distrubing for no reason, and it truly enraged me.

I just binged “Russian doll” season 1+2

Season 1 is a clever follow-up to the dols masterpiece “Groundhog day.”
A competitor there is hard to beat. But Russian doll do a great job and tributes with some clever stuff.

But it all died in season 2. And everything ended up as a messy mess. They should have stopped in time when it was good.
