Got back a good internet connection after weeks without one, so I'm in the mood to read all your comics! I'll keep the comments short though, mostly one + and one -
@TCoopComics I'm already reading Bramble and am subscribed, so I'll start with the next one:
Nova and Max: @GamerPrincessXI I think I already commented a few updates ago. My feeling did not change: Supercute character designs, but I don't see the point of the plot...
Ivolice. @KoreanTacos Warning, I know nothing about this genre of comics. I never read any! So I can't be a good reviewer for the 'genre' aspect.
I love all the environment focused panels (can't remember the dedicated name). It really helps creating a general atmosphere to your comic, and shows that you actually thought your environment and not just your characters.
If I was you, I would work on how to draw hair better. And it comes from someone who can't draw hair, so I know it's quite a task. But I think you could increase drastically the appeal of your drawings just with that. So I think it would worth it.
My melancholy: @jarklor7
I really like it. I like the fact it's all simplicity (simple – but good – drawings, simple situations), but still it says so much. Also, I like how the drawings are all round and cute, giving a warm feeling, and then, BAM, warm feelings crushed.
I subscribed.
I would advise you to change your thumbnail though: I did not read your comic before, even if the theme was of interest to me, because I assumed it would be stick characters and I don't enjoy that much.
Dragon sparking. @dragonsparking First something funny: because they were speaking about sparkles up in the thread I read it as Dragon sparkling, which would probably be another story. I want it too!
It's so nostalgic! I grew up in the eighties/nineties, pixels, 2D/early 3D games and everything!
Your comic is a bit too new to actually comment on the story, but I sure like the idea.
The power of stardust: @OttoGruenwald I will have to take some more time to read this one. I also have very little interest in the genre and the drawing style, however objectively, the drawings look beautiful and by scrolling down a bit, I have the feeling it is still a story I may enjoy. But difficult for me to get into, so it would be hard and unfair to the comic to review it after a rapid read.
Everdream @Lucca_Vendramel : the world is interesting but I'm not sure I understand everything, but then, it may be part of the charm too. Are you on hiatus?
Nirvana: @Haruna I hope it won't sound too rude but 'Prolouge” is a huge turn off, especially because it's one of the first word to read.. I say that to help. My own comic is LADEN with bad English and the occasional spelling mistakes, so I'm guilty of the same 'crime'.. I got it edited but I did not make the changes yet.)
Other than that, I'm very confused. Is that edited photos you are using? I need to read more episodes to get an actual idea of what it is all about. I will continue reading.
Glint @ckileru I love the art ! The cover is beautiful, with the pretty realistic character and the foreground of simplified plants that seem out of some traditional fabric pattern. Love it ! The colour choices in the whole comic are really good too.
Aaand I had enough reading for now! I know there are a few more comics in the thread. I'll read them later (feel free to remind me).
Here is my comic. Be harsh, as much as necessary
