My boyfriend got tattooed a character from my webcomic

At the end of each chapter of my webcomic, I put a small banner featuring one of the protagonists, Xoxo, with an ahegao face.

Originally I made this illustration (which is way bigger and, in a way, nsfw-ish) for a paper dedicated to local graffiti artists and their best works.

I guess I never showed it to my boyfriend who, the moment he scrolled through my comic, fell instantly in love with the little banner and decided to carve it on his skin!

My boyfriend is crazy. Crazy in love! (and he plans to get tattooed another drawing of mine)

That's good tattoo work! They really got the textures of the original inks right.

I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable with my husband tattooing any of my characters on his body... Unless I felt like he was genuinely a fan and the character itself changed his life, I guess. We've been together for 12 years but... IDK. My mother got divorced 3 times so I guess in my mind it's always like "you never know what life brings".

I did design one of my husband's tattoos though, based on his favourite JRPG that he played as a child. I made a mock-up and sternly told him "take this to a tattoo artist and work with them to get the final design to look the way you want it to look". Instead he just went to his tattoo artist and said "ink this".

I know what you mean. I've been in too many relationships and I'm always afraid for our future... But it's something he has been wanting to do for a long time and he really likes Xoxo's design (I've been using her for years in various ways. She's my trademark).
My boyfriend, before being boyfriend, was one of my fans on Instagram One day we decided to make a graffiti together and then love came.

To be honest, in the beginning he wanted a tattoo of Xoxo on his right knee, because on our first date a car hit him while he was running to me on his bike and now there's a big scar to remember it
