Hi
I've been meaning to make this post for a while, this will be regarding my plans for the year 2024.
Lot's of people have talked about rebooting their own comics and i've been hearing this more and more as of late. First thing is first Hawk and Flo Adventures. WILL NOT BE REBOOTED. I think a reboot is a terrible idea given the current state the series is in. I feel this way about Thirley Peak as well. Both comics are overall well received and the people who find them like them as they are. That being said I plan for previous chapters to get some improvements. Duck and Comic Fury will contain the original release of Hawk and Flo Adventures, Hawk and Flo Adventures won the award for best all ages comic at the DD awards just recently. As a result whilst my vacuum packed speech bubbles weren't the best, people have a right to see how the series started and they have a right to be able to read The edition of the Comic that won the award. Whilst other sites like Namicomi, Tapas and Globalcomix will be getting remastered chapters as they're done. I don't wish to pull a George Lucas and erase the version of Hawk and Flo Adventures that won a legitimate award. In my view it would be disrespectful to the fans of the comic and the DD as a whole. That being said I am planning for every notable version of Hawk and Flo Adventures to be available to read on there. Such as the upcoming Thriller Made Of Vanilla Remake and the remastered chapters once enough have been done.
Thirley Peak will continue it's run for the forseeable future. The comic has been well received on the whole, some people prefer it to Hawk and Flo Adventures that and it's performance on Namicomi despite rushed marketting. Has shown some promising signs that it will grow more in the future. That and I enjoy making it that's the important thing lol.
Phantom Force 3000 thanks to the 100K Ink goal being met on Tapas will launch on Duck, Comic Fury and Tapas on February 27th. You can thank the Tapas community for getting the comic's release date pushed forward and funded. I've been in the middle of storyboards and pages some of which can be viewed on my Patreon and Ko-Fi. Being on 5 sites is a lot so i'll be launching Phantom Force 3000 on Namicomi on it's originally planned April 27th release date. I need to get the hang of the routine of working on 3 comics at once. I can do it but understandably 3 comics per week with 25ish panel updates at once is my limit as a creator. I'm not sure what Phantom Force 3000's upload schedule will be just yet. I'll be experimenting in the short term to see what works best for me.
This next part is exciting as well. The storylines after Ice Cream Truck Of Doom has concluded are going to be 'Field Day', 'Kingdom of Avaran' and Twistjam. These storylines will feature a crossover with Sefra Orlick's comic series Space Pack. This is why The Space Pack characters on some of my comic's site banners have been changed to have Bally and Nismo on them. it's also why the cover was changed recently.
On a final note here's how the Thriller Made Of Vanilla remake is looking ^^. It's taking me a lot longer than I expected but it is still being worked on!

Wishing you all a great 2024! It's going to be an exciting time for Twistverse and comics in general!
