My story got put on an AI audiobook aggregator site without my permission. Is yours stolen too?

I figured others would want to check if theirs were stolen too. I'm submitting a DCMA later today. You can't listen to anything without an account though so I don't even know if it sounds good yet.

It seems like they're scraping stuff uploaded to RoyalRoad, which unfortunately tends to happen every so often. The good(?) news is, I don't think anyone actually visits these sites. I tried to look up the exact URL on Google and couldn't find it.

For that reason, I'm a little wary about going to sites like this. It feels like they're trying to bait authors for some reason, but that's just me.

I use this. It also gives you a certificate. I have the free account but its great to have either way as a marker to prove when it was posted and who owns it.
My studios artwork had only what I said was mine for a long while. Once the internet came up with this option I jumped on it over a decade ago. You can upload or link to things too. I think the free account comes with a certain amount of uploads a month.

It is illegal but it happens all the time. Keep an eye out for sites like these because they appear in seasons.
