My TikTok video got 2k views today

I uploaded a video advertising my Tapas novel on TikTok today and it got over 2k views already. Has anyone had any experience of using traffic from TikTok to Tapas successfully. If all those 2k accounts came to my tapas I’d be so happy but even had 400 liked the video I didn’t see a massive jump in traffic to my novel.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My TikToks get around 200 views so there's not much I can do with that at the moment but I think followers on TikTok are more likely to then check out your story than just viewers Do you have the link to your story in your bio on TikTok? Because some people just have the name there and then no link so people who just want to quickly have a look at your story won't do that without a link.

Yes, I saw it when I looked at your account there, sorry, I should have done that before trying to help Maybe you can get people to comment and then you can send them to read your story? Or maybe TikTok videos about your story with a cliffhanger so people want to know what happens next and check out your novel?

First of all, congrats!!!

I honestly don't understand Tik Tok's algorithm, there were times I posted two videos in a week and they got around 150 to 200 views. There are times that it gets more views but that's it xD

What I see other authors do is show speedpaintings or scroll down in a section of their most recent chapter, but what I see the most is authors giving advice, tips or how they do things and usually those gain more attention than a silent time-lapse or making a sneak peek.
