I chose paramorph because it sounded the coolest, but now that I think about it, it sounds more supernatural/fantasy than sci-fi that you're going for.
When naming things it's good to think who does it. If the supersoldier race is genetically engineered then someone had to be their creator. Who? Did they name them? And are they a different race from them? Because to me your name suggestions sound like something humans (or the race fighting these things) would give them. Like in the Dead Space series the enemy is called "Necromorph" ("Dead" + "forms") and was given by humans because the parasite literally animates dead tissue to form all kinds of grotesque monsters it then uses to attack and infect new victims.
You could invent an alien word the race uses of itself like GRRM did with Khaleesi (I know it means queen, but it's a made-up word) and Tolkien did with eldarin, balrogs, nazguls etc. Or invent a new neologism that describes the species, like you have done. Use words from latin, greek or any language that sounds cool and combine them in any way you like. It doesn't have to mean alien because there are already several species of alien races in your story. For example if the super soldiers are a race known for being red in color and for tearing its victims you could call it "Red Slashers" and then search for the coolest words for Red and Slash/Rip/Tear. My quick googling gives these:
crven, rot, dearg, rojo, ruga + odrit, cjerr, scindo, gearr. I try combining them, might drop a letter from the middle to make them fit together and sound like an actual word:
Rotodrit, Rotgearr or Cjerrojo, or something, Lmao, this was a bad example because I couldn't find any good combinations When I do these I try to find a longer word and a word that is really short because they're easier to play around with. And often change them all together if nothing works.
Third way for inventing a name for a species is to search for the etymologies of words. Some ancient spellings are no longer in use (so are unknown to the public and ripe for the picking!) or have evolved so much the oldest spelling is unrecognizable today. There are some very interesting words out there. It takes more time, but I enjoy it, so I thought I'd share my naming process.
