Ok... just finished writing out the script for the current chapter and give how it ends... I need something lighthearted to start the next chapter off with. Doesn't have to be plot moving, just something to help get everyone not mad at me for a bit (I am crushing hearts at the end of that chapter, I made my husband cry and he KNEW what was gonna happen for a while now).

So I'm open to ideas, don't need full ideas just something for inspiration. I will credit if I use your idea. Here is a link to my comic if you need to skim through before giving your opinion.

Can't say there's anything particularly wrong with the layout. However, I would be careful about color leaking out of the panels. The easiest way to prevent yourself from coloring outside a specific panel is to use the square selection tool around the border, so it doesn't leak.

What I meant was idea for the story layout, the next bit of story in the chapter after this one. Something fun people would want to see the bots do

Here's an idea: They get on a spaceship and go through some crazy adventure through space. Exploring other worlds n' stuff.

I meant something more low key before they go to the next part of the planned plot. The end of this chapter is kinda heavy. Thought something light would be a good idea.

Well I was thinking something I could do over a month, break things up a lil bit like the camping one did.

gah I'm just not sure.... the scope creep thing could be fun to mess with...

I'm just really gonna rip at hearts at the end of the chapter and aside from some house keeping, so to speak, I feel like it needs SOMETHING

What about a light-hearted conversation about English standard to metric conversion in machined parts?

Nope they solved that a long time ago and switched to a part bit unit system.

Cause I ain't dealing with that argument!

I'm not sure how to help. Usually comedy and drama go hand in hand. I would say try something comedic but that usually sometimes kills the dramatic vibe of the comic. I'd say do research lots of it. Maybe watch an old movie or read an old story. Example: Cinderella. The original not disney version. She had her stepsisters eyes plucked out by crows. One sister chopped off a part of her foot to fit in the shoe. Between you and me, I'd prefer to original version to disney. Sure, it's dramatic and scary but it teaches a valuable lesson: You can't always get what you want by being mean to your relatives.
