Need help on determining NSFW content O 3O

sooooo I'm having a prob here on my works, and yes, most of them are NSFWish... in some way... errr... I dunno!

The main point here is that I won't get any views from outsiders[I mean, the people that are not owning Tapastic account] because I'm setting it to NSFW, and I want some opinions if my works are really NSFW.

[errr... my works are full of swearing because a Homestucker friend of mine influenced me]

A "NSFW" comic is basically determined by a few simple factors:

1.) Is it something that would be safe to view in the workplace? (things that you would not want to be caught looking at while at work can include nudity, extreme language, and sensitive subjects).

2.) Is it something that you would be fine showing your mom?

Most NSFW comics have adult content like nudity, extreme swearing (and I mean vulgar language up the wazoo lol), sexual/pornographic content, suggestive themes, etc. If it's something you think that someone could get fired for accessing and looking at, it's considered "Not Safe For Work".

I see... thanks, but on what equivalent does the "extreme swearing" have? is it similar to Karkat's[from HomeStuck] level of swearing?

My guess is, Karkat would be in the grey area between nsfw and safe for work...
But I was going through your 2nd episode of Sucrose and didn't find anything I'd call NSWF. No cursing, no nudity and no explicit display of violence.
The occasional "bad word" in a whole episode is also not so bad. But f you open a comic and the very first thing one sees is a big, nasty curse, that would be nsfw.

Just build up on Uzukis Advice: Imagine you open this episod up and your boss and several colleagues are behind you, looking on the screen - would you be embarrassed?

hmmm.... you might be right Verty. The only thing that makes me indecisive is the "Imagine you open this episode up and your boss and several colleagues are behind you, looking on the screen - would you be embarrassed?" line.
However, I can unNSFW ep 2-3 of Sucrose and wait for some responses if it will be reported as NSFW.

I am looking forward what will become of your comics. Although i find it sometimes hard to follow the comic in the more chaotic parts.

I'm kinda trying on some things to correct those "chaotic" parts though, but I'll find a way, in some way.

=) I am sure you will. I know perfectly well that these chaotic parts come from the haste to tell the story - in your mind it is already laid out perfectly but on paper you unintentionally skip parts or rush it...

My first comics were like that. I started early to get a feeling for stroytelling and building a world - unfortunately i then forogot to train myself in drawing ^^ meh. Tradeoff.
