Need some references

Hey guys, I know this is going to sound weird but I want to have some references for drawing environment drawing. So it’ll be great help if you can provide that, I know I can find some on internet but I want the ones that will push me become a better artist. Something of berserk or vagabond level.

it may help if you're a bit more specific. like are you looking for refs of indoor or outdoor spaces? do you want actual photos or sites that may have what you're looking for? are you cool with game photos? what time period are you looking to draw references from?

like the final fantasy games, especially more recent ones like FFXIV for example, have really great spaces to use as inspiration or reference but you could also explore other games with these kinds of environment details. Asobimo games are pretty good with this as well as Bandai Namco's Sword Art Online games or other titles depending on how fantastic an environment you're looking to reference.

It also doesn't hurt to try exploring different places using google maps which may sound odd at first but for certain places you can plop down the little "street view" marker and quite literally walk or drive through different places around the globe and get a first person/3D perspective of a location and work from that it just depends on what you're looking for

I use reference EVERY time

Every Art instructors and tutors recommends using references, especially when you don't know the subject and if you ask yourself if you should have reference.

Before I begin any panel, I lay some references on the drawing itself (next to the area where I draw)
If the environment is new, getting references will take you few minutes and will add a lot to your drawing :ideas on what to put in there, realism ( how weathered is the object) , how the world or object functions (even the simplest things)
even my own previous drawings , so I don't miss things I've put in the location and keep it consistent

I even put my previous drawings as reference (to not forget any things i've put there)

A popular artist on Insta shared about a site they use called mapcrunch: https://www.mapcrunch.com/

It gives a bunch of random streets/landscapes that work well for reference. Plus, you can rotate the view around.
