I’m a professional English to Spanish comic translator and wanted to share with you that I created an English AND Spanish glossary of more than 550 onomatopoeia (sound effects) 
It’s free and you can use it to search for onomatopoeia in English and Spanish. The UI is in Spanish now, but you can translated the page and use the page to look for sounds, create, and do some brainstorming. You can use it if you are a translator, writer, creator, etc… You can look for onomatopoeia by description or context. It’s really good!
