I think it's a bit too dark, not very clear to see. Perhaps try increasing the brightness contrast between the background and characters.
Also, the font could use some adjustment.

If you could briefly describe the story situation of your cover and the atmosphere you're hoping for, it might help others provide more detailed feedback.

I agree with @wolflu66 - I feel it's too dark to understand what's going on, or to catch the readers' attention. Increasing the contrast is a great idea, or even trying with a flat background with no texture.

I'd also change the font to something that fits the "vibe" of your story (is it terror? is it fantasy?). A good font for your title can go a long way! - I'd also try to center it and make it bigger so it's easy to read. Maybe make the "Book 1" part a subtitle in a smaller size, to highlight the story's title!

I agree. The picture is too dark, it doesn't attract attention, maybe the shadows should be made white and the font should be made bolder and more gothic.

thanks for the feed back @wolflu66, @CarltonIsaac, @emedemeand @NGChloe this won't be the finial cover, but it looks better than the one I had orgional I plan on defining the character outlines a little more and adding in a bit of armor and weapons for them as well as altering the back ground a little more just between work and college finding time to write and work on the cover art is a bit hard also working on some character illustrations
