Really excited about our new cover. A different vibe than the previous ones, but this is probably my favorite so far.

Show me your comic or novel cover and drop a link! I'd love to see your different art styles and takes.

What's your favorite part about your cover? Do you folks update your covers more than once or do you keep the same one since launch?

Oh gosh. I am so guilty of changing my covers a lot hahaha! This is the cover of my web novel, I'm loving my vibrant colours and my MC's aggrieved expression.

The cover!

Here's mine! I made it long before learning Tapas existed, so it's a bit different than the "normal" style here. I like it, but I have considered changing it. I'm commissioning illustrations for the novel itself, so I could play with one or multiple of those for a more illustrative cover. We'll see! For now I've stuck with this since launch.

The swirling colors are super cool! Glad to hear you change your covers frequently too. We've had around four different covers so far LOL

I may change a cover once or twice during the run of a series life, more the longer a series goes on, naturally. Sometimes I'll draw a random illustration for the series and think it would make a good cover, so I slap some text on it and upload. I'm mostly restricted by time and motivation so I don't make new ones too often haha.

This is my webnovel1's cover and then its print cover.

I guess my favorite parts are that they are very indicative of the time period my story is set in. I try to hit a certain aesthetic with them that complements the artstyle of the main illustrations.

Both are interesting! I really like the painterly vibes of the second cover. Really reminiscent of old-school paintings. I've always liked that aesthetic.

The first one has a neat emphasis on shapes and form, and I think that's a strong point of that piece. Both give me an idea of the relative time period, so I think you got it right!

The current project I'm working on is a Victorian-era inspired comic with thriller and supernatural elements. I'll have to think of a way to show off the aesthetic for the cover.

Ooh, this archive is great! I'm checking it out now and there are some really cool covers in here. Thanks so much!

So... I've got 3 series

went from this one

to this

made the change when big covers got introduced to us non-premium folks ;p and was using the old one on other sites

then there's

which went from

to

to finally

I'll be honest - the last change was to catch some bl audience ;p

and my last series

hasn't gone through any drastic cover changes - it's been this one from the start, just with characters that had yet to get their chapters darkened and revealing them as they get their light in the spotlight

Your cover gives me a fresh and cool feeling, I like it :heart_03:
Here's mine...

I recently changed mine and i'm really happy happy how it came out ^^

This is the old one

I honestly didn't think to change it one day since the first cover show the memento mori who the protagonist wear. it also has a deep meaning to her... But yeah, my latest illustration seemed to be perfect for a change ^^

So that's the new one

And that's the banner i actually use

Use the same one from launch.
My favorite part about my covers is the nice use of light and shade and the wood pattern underneath and around the photo. Also the photo XD
