So… I know I already have ongoing projects (yes, Only Us-Survive or Die, I’m looking at you 
), but I recently came across a random YouTube comment that hit me with an idea SO strong that I just had to start writing it.
And boom — a brand-new psychological mystery/"apocalypse" novel has been born.
Title: The Disappearance of The INK
Genre:
️ Premise:
During the early 2020s — when the world is exhausted, overwhelmed, and distracted by global chaos — people begin vanishing. Not randomly… but after their tattoos start to fade, react, or completely disappear.
The story follows a narrator who writes in a formal, almost old-fashioned tone (they say “do not” instead of “don’t,” etc.) and slowly becomes aware that something deeply wrong is happening.
What starts as news in the background becomes a horrifying personal reality.
Why I Started This:
I simply got inspired. The idea hit, and I wanted to explore it immediately. I still plan to continue my other works — I just write whenever inspiration strikes, and this concept refused to leave my head.
First Chapter:
Already being written — starting with the narrator ignoring the news until the disappearances become impossible to overlook.
If you’re into eerie world-building, slow dread, and stories that feel “almost too real,” this might be for you.
