Hello everyone! I’m a new writer, and I recently started working on a story titled A Love Like a Willow.
The story follows Plumette, the daughter of a Count, and Jacob, a young Marquess who inherited his title far earlier than expected due to unfortunate circumstances. Though he holds a position of honor, Jacob carries the heavy weight of responsibility. Having been sent to war at a young age, he has seen more than he ever wished to, and the burden of those experiences has left him troubled. Despite resenting the life forced upon him, he cannot turn away from his duties.
Everything begins to shift when he meets Plumette, a young woman whose presence is as calm and steady as a willow tree. Drawn to her gentleness and quiet strength, Jacob finds himself captivated almost instantly. Yet he hesitates to call his feelings love, unsure whether he truly knows her well enough. Determined to understand his own heart, he decides to learn more about her.
