As many of you are aware due to our recent discussion around Sub4Sub, we are making changes around this specific genre of promotions. We want to keep this community a place for genuine growth, learning, and support. Starting today, Sub4Sub (subscriber-for-subscriber) threads are no longer allowed on this forum.
Why?
- Sub4Sub goes against the principles of organic growth and negatively affects our Novel Rankings.
It creates inflated numbers without real engagement, which can actually hurt your series performance in the long run.
These threads clutter the forum and make it harder to find meaningful discussions, feedback, and collaboration opportunities.
What’s allowed instead?
Share your work in the appropriate promotion threads.
Ask for constructive feedback on your content.
Join or start collaboration discussions that focus on real creative ideas.
What’s not allowed going forward:
“I sub you, you sub me” posts.
Other versions of the same post, like asking to exchange likes, reads and comments. Allow readers to check out your series without promising interaction with their own series in return.
Any attempts to bypass this rule by rephrasing Sub4Sub requests.
Posts that break this rule will be removed, and repeat offenders may face moderation actions.
